News: VW goes to Grabarz & Partner

Among those beaten are Weber Hodel Schmid, Zurich, and VW's main agency DDB Berlin, which has been working for the Wolfsburg-based group for 36 years. Grabarz was founded in 1993 and employs 53 people with billings of 68 million marks.
Intel moves from Paris to LondonThe American processor manufacturer Intel has shifted its European budget within Euro RSCG. Instead of Euro RSCG Works in Paris as before, the London-based Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper is now responsible. The budget amounts to around 50 million dollars. A team of over 40 people will be formed to manage it, working together with local Euro RSCG branches.
Bild increases circulationThe German tabloid Bild was able to halt the downward trend in circulation in the first quarter of 2001. "Europe's largest daily newspaper", as it is called in a press release, increased by 41 085 or 0.97 percent to 4 289 491 copies. The figures were confirmed by the neutral circulation research institute IVW. The publisher sees the growth as confirmation of the changes made with the change of editor-in-chief in January.

The Austrian trade magazine ExtraDienst has been awarding the EDward advertising prize every year since 1987.
