The other PER shareholders are Italy's Stampa Europa (25 percent) and Spain's Prisa (11 percent), he said. Edipresse intends to retain its direct 4.5 percent stake in Midi libre despite its small stake in PER, Bolton added.

Cablecom is taking over the share package from Videopress, an association of newspaper and magazine publishers. Videopress is completely divesting its 25 percent stake; 3 percent will go to SRG, which will thus hold 75 percent of Swiss TXT in the future. Last November, it was said that Videopress would sell its entire stake to SRG.
