The reason is an article critical of VW in the May 18 issue. It claimed that VW would have to revise its profit expectations for the current year downward by DM 1.9 billion. It consists of auto advertising experts from IPG's McCann-Erickson and Lowe Lintas networks, who serve the client in various markets, as well as specialists from other IPG firms. The unit will develop integrated communications solutions for the Opel brand worldwide. It will also handle media planning and buying.
