STATE OF THE ART Young Creatives Shake Up Printland Switzerland The message "Only an ad can do that", initiated in 2002 by the Swiss Press Association, was implemented for three years by well-known Swiss advertising agencies. In 2006, young creatives were brought in for the first time - with great success: the campaign will be continued in 2007. The purpose of the campaign is to make readers aware of the importance of the advertisement. STATE OF THE ART "Successful campaign" As Head of Marketing at the Swiss Press Association, Toni Vetterli is responsible for the "Only an ad can do that" campaign. He draws a positive balance, even if the success cannot be measured in monetary terms. The theme has not yet been exhausted, as there are always great ideas and creations. NEWS THE BEST OF LARS ASSOCIATION CONTRIBUTIONS Swiss advertising The Swiss Commission for Fairness writes in its 2006 activity report that intent is not a prerequisite for unfairness. Pascal Bruderer, a member of the National Council from Aargau, was elected as the new LK president. Direct Marketing Association Numerous interested parties and guests accepted the invitation to the vernissage of the dialog marketing exhibition. At the EWZ substation in Selnau, Zurich, everything revolved around quality and creativity in Swiss dialog marketing.

MARKETING EXAMINATIONS Innovations in marketing education The new examination regulations for the professional examinations in marketing, sales, advertising and PR come into force in 2009. In addition to the MarKom admission examination, the regulations have been revised and some job titles have been changed.
