The Swiss women's magazine Ladies Drive, founded by CEO Sandra-Stella Triebl, and the HWZ are teaming up - and implementing a sponsorship project. Together, they are awarding a scholarship worth 55,000 Swiss francs for an Executive MBA Digital Leadership for future female leaders. The goal is to encourage digitally savvy women to become even more involved in the ongoing transformation process in companies and to help shape these processes themselves.
The Executive MBA begins on January 30, 2023, and the Scholarship nomination process is now open via ladiesdrive.world. The winner will be announced on December 2, 2022.
"This scholarship, which is awarded in partnership, is very close to my heart because it symbolizes what we have been doing for 15 years: We don't just talk. We act. This is precisely consciously lived business sisterhood that serves our entire society. The Executive MBA Digital Leadership HWZ promotes precisely those skills that female and male leaders of the future will need to master," says Sandra-Stella Triebl.
Manuel P. Nappo, co-initiator of this sponsorship project and Head of the Institute for Digital Business HWZ, underlines this statement: "This scholarship not only advances one woman, but us as a society. We need the diverse perspective to master sustainable solutions for the challenges of today's and future generations".
HWZ as a digital pioneer
Since 2020, the HWZ Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich has been running the Executive MBA Digital Leadership, a unique, three-semester program for male and female executives who want to deepen their knowledge of digital technologies and new leadership approaches and develop digital visions for their company. Innovative and attractive elements define a new benchmark for EMBA programs in Switzerland. It is led by Sunnie J. Groeneveld and Manuel P. Nappo.
In the Executive MBA Digital Leadership, executives deal with topics such as data-based decision-making, platform economics, intrapreneurship, and learn to operate in innovation ecosystems and collaborate with new stakeholders across industries. In addition to providing a sound understanding of digital technology, the program focuses specifically on the participants' personal development as well as their entrepreneurial and communication skills.
