The students' final theses drew on the extensive branding knowledge and tools they received from a wide range of lecturers from practice and academia over a period of six months. The expert jury (picture below) - consisting of Jürg Burkalter, Mifa, Stefan Vogler, brand expert, Benjamin Gilgen, Partner Prophet, Pam Hügli, Serviceplan Suisse and Felix Courvoisier, Seed - evaluated and graded the ideas presented. The different approaches and feedback showed that branding is not an exact science, or in the words of Peter Felser: "The human and creative side of brand leadership makes up a significant part of the fascination."

Both brand expert Stefan Vogler and Pam Hügli from Serviceplan Suisse, were impressed by the high quality of the work and the appropriate use of the methods and tools taught in class for systematic brand planning. The winning presentations understood not to lose the holistic view, to have courage and to emotionally charge the brand strategy.

On the evening of September 27, 2019, the official certificate ceremony took place at Loft Five. Course director Peter Felser presented the 24 graduates with their certificates. The best graduation was achieved by the group work of Stephanie Grunder, Stefan Eberle, Regula Roth and Irina Fingerhut with a grade of 5.5. The students expressed their confidence in the CAS Brand Leadership. "The CAS is very comprehensive. The top-class lecturers brought different focal points and concrete practical cases into the lessons. I have therefore already been able to put the models and tools taught to good use in everyday life," says graduate Sabrina Datilo.

Peter Felser also considers this year's course a complete success. "It is great to see how the students deal with the topic of brand mission and cleverly use the new digital possibilities. I'm very impressed by the quality, commitment and passion of the new Brand Leaders."
