20 minutes: Mehmet Inan new Chief Commercial Officer and part of the Executive Board

Mehmet Inan joins the management of 20 Minuten as Chief Commercial Officer with immediate effect. Together with Chief Revenue Officer Giovanni Cauterucci, he is responsible for marketing.

20 Minuten is bringing Mehmet Inan on board as its new Chief Commercial Officer with immediate effect. He will also take a seat on the Management Board of 20 Minuten. Together with Chief Revenue Officer Giovanni Cauterucci, the 51-year-old will set up a new marketing organization for 20 Minuten and co-lead it from 1 January 2025.

Inan joined the Belcom sales organization as Director Sales & Marketing in 1998 and later moved to IP Multimedia (now Goldbach Media). He was then responsible for sales at the TV channel 3+ for around 13 years and built up a fashion and jewelry distribution business on the side. From 2021 to 2023, Mehmet Inan was Chief Marketing Officer at Axel Springer / Media Impact in Berlin.

Joint project by 20 Minuten and Goldbach

20 Minuten and Goldbach launched a joint project in spring with the aim of reducing the complexity of the marketing organization and positioning themselves in such a way that both organizations can make the most of their strengths. From January 1, 2025, 20 Minuten will directly manage brand sales as well as the AdStack, Open Market and third-party partner business under the joint leadership of Mehmet Inan and Giovanni Cauterucci. Goldbach will focus on network marketing in its collaboration with 20 Minuten. The details of the new organization are currently being worked out together and will be communicated at a later date.
