New Director of Marketing and Sustainability at Swibeco

After holding positions at Procter & Gamble, Jumia and Sqale by Qoqa, Lawrence Ullmann is joining the marketing team at Swibeco, a platform for fringe benefits, with immediate effect. He succeeds Matthias Thürer as Director of Marketing and Sustainability.

Swibeco, fringe benefits specialist and publisher of the Lunch Card, has a new Director of Marketing and Sustainability: Lawrence Ullmann took up his post in November 2023. He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations, a double Master's degree in International Management and has experience in marketing.

After studying in St. Gallen, Barcelona and Warsaw, Lawrence Ullmann began his career at Procter & Gamble, where he was responsible for Gucci and Escada fragrances in the DACH region. He then moved to the Jumia Group, an e-commerce company active in the African market. He worked there for almost five years as Marketing Manager for e-merchandising, design and mobile. Lawrence later joined Sqale by Qoqa, a joint venture between Qoqa and Scalefast, as Head of Marketing and Sales, taking care of the complete outsourcing of e-commerce for brands that want to set up their own online store and sell directly.

Lawrence Ullman joined Swibeco in May 2022, initially as Growth Manager. In this position, he introduced a strategy for growth, data and e-commerce. Since 2023, he has also been responsible for sustainability issues. His tasks include implementing a comprehensive strategy and developing new products for customers and users. Lawrence Ullmann has now also taken over the management of the marketing team.
