Rafael Enzler is the new President of St.Gallen-Lake Constance Tourism

On Thursday, Rafael Enzler was unanimously elected as the new President of St.Gallen-Lake Constance Tourism at an extraordinary meeting of the association.

After the board of St.Gallen-Lake Constance Tourism proposed Rafael Enzler to its members for election as the new president of the association, he was unanimously elected as the new president by 20 eligible voters at the extraordinary association meeting on Thursday. "I am particularly pleased that my new role takes me 'back to the roots' in Eastern Switzerland. Together with the entire team and all service providers, I would like to make an active contribution to a sustainably successful tourism destination St.Gallen-Lake Constance in the coming years," said the new President after his election.

Enzler has a broad track record in tourism and has excellent international, national and regional connections. He grew up in Wil and studied at the University of St.Gallen HSG, specializing in tourism and transport economics. At an operational level, he has held various management positions at Switzerland Tourism, including as Tourism Director of Toggenburg Tourism. Enzler has been Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Swiss Museum Pass since 2013 and has a strong affinity for cultural tourism. He also founded "Gutundgut" in 2013, where he has since been involved as a partner and managing director in the development and implementation of projects for tourism, leisure and culture.
