Over the past 10 years, UBS has strategically expanded and established numerous digital marketing channels under Pascal Meier's leadership. In addition to his extensive expertise in digital user behavior, he was instrumental in introducing and establishing a client portal to noticeably reduce call volumes at UBS call centers. UBS Switzerland is now a leader in many digital areas, as regularly confirmed in studies and awards.
With Pascal Meier, a well-known and established digital expert with more than 25 years of experience has now left the bank and is opening up his many years of expertise to other companies. At the beginning of October 2023, he took on the role of Managing Director at the Uster-based consultancy "Kamano", which advises companies on digitalization. Recommendations for action to maximize digital growth in companies and unique digital competitor analyses are just some of the services. A special feature of Kamano is its complete independence from advertising providers and agencies, when advising on digitalization. Meier also has field-tested experience in the use of artificial intelligence in companies, such as ChatGPT or Google Bard, and already knows innovative approaches to solutions. Clients include companies from the financial sector, telecommunications and healthcare.
Furthermore, Pascal Meier was awarded the "Digital Marketing Award" by IAB Switzerland - the "Oscar" of the digital advertising industry in Switzerland. In addition, he has many years of experience as a lecturer at the University of St. Gallen and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. There, he is committed to training and promoting the next generation of digital specialists of tomorrow and shares his experience in digitization in management presentations. Already at the end of the 90s, Pascal Meier was involved in the development and establishment of one of the largest event portals in Switzerland and has advised and accompanied various startups in the founding phase.
