As former CEO of UPC, Severina joined the management of the merged Sunrise in December 2020 (Werbewoche.ch reported). She was responsible for the first offerings of the combined company, positioned Sunrise as the new main brand, launched the new portfolio of the Consumer division and developed the Flanker Brands strategy with Yallo as a full-service provider. In addition, she was a driving force behind digitization with the goal of creating simpler processes and a better, digital customer experience. She also launched the Sunrise DE&I program "YouBelong!".
According to the statement, Pascu has built a strong team and prepared her successor. As of October 1, Christoph Richartz will take over responsibility for the business under the main Sunrise brand as Chief Consumer Officer - Sunrise Brand and will sit on the Executive Committee. Richartz joined Sunrise in 2012 and was responsible for direct and indirect sales channels until 2020. In 2020, he served on the executive committee as chief YOL - the previous designation of the Flanker Brands business - officer. In 2022, he took over as Head of Customer Relations at Sunrise, which includes Customer Service and Sales.
Stefan Fuchs is promoted to Chief Consumer Officer - Flanker Brands and also becomes a member of the Executive Committee. In this role, he is responsible for all activities of Flanker Brands, namely Yallo, Lebara and Swype. Fuchs has been part of Liberty Global Group for more than ten years. He has led the international positioning and marketing activities of LG in Amsterdam and held senior marketing positions at Virgin Media in London and Unitymedia in Cologne. After serving as Chief Marketing Officer of UPC Switzerland, he assumed the role of Chief Commercial Officer in January 2020. After the merger of Sunrise and UPC, Stefan was part of the Executive Board as Chief Marketing Officer. Since then, he has headed Flanker Brands.
