Double reinforcement for SonntagsBlick

SonntagsBlick can report two new additions. Erika Unternährer will join in November 2023, and Andreas Schmid will be a new employee at the newspaper from January 2024.

Effective January 2024, 58-year-old Andreas Schmid will join the editorial team of the SonntagsBlick. According to the press release, Schmid is one of the most accomplished investigative journalists in the country. For the past two years, he has worked as an editor at SRF Investigativ. Among the journalistic stations of the studied Germanist were the Südostschweiz, Facts, Balance, Observer, NZZ and for over ten years also the NZZ on Sunday. In 2020, he wrote the book "Code Name Jonathan" about a Swiss spy during the Cold War.

In addition to Schmid, 33-year-old Erika Unternährer will join the company on November 1. 20 minutes to SonntagsBlick. As a news reporter for the Zurich department, she will cover a range of topics from judicial cases to social issues. Before her time at 20 minutes she was at the March-Anzeiger working as a court reporter in the canton of Schwyz. She holds a bachelor's degree in linguistics and literature.
