ASM agency for social marketing strengthens the management

With Anita Baumgartner as a new member of the Executive Board, ASM is strengthening itself in the area of major gifts fundraising. She comes from Helvetas.

ASM Agency for Social Marketing welcomes Anita Baumgartner as a new member of the management team. The Head of Project Partnerships & Philanthropy from Helvetas joins one of the leading fundraising agencies in Switzerland. She will be responsible for major gifts fundraising, namely the development of partnerships with foundations, the public sector, companies and major private donors.

As a qualified fundraiser, Anita Baumgartner has 20 years of professional experience in fundraising, much of it with management responsibility. As a former ICRC delegate and as a long-time employee of a Swiss development organization, she knows the nonprofit world firsthand. She knows how grantmaking foundations work and why people are particularly generous to causes close to their hearts.

Anita Baumgartner has a Master's degree in Leadership and Management (ZHAW) and, among other things, experience in accompanying change processes and organizational development, especially with regard to institutional readiness for successful fundraising. As a lecturer, she also passes on her knowledge at the ZHAW (MAS Fundraising and Management) and at Swissfundraising. She therefore knows the questions that concern employees of small, medium and large organizations.
