Marc Sele new on the WEMF Executive Board
Marc Sele will become a new member of the Executive Board at WEMF as of May 1, 2023. He succeeds Harald Amschler, who is retiring after more than 30 years with the company.
Marc Sele has been part of the WEMF team since 2015. Two years ago, he took over the function as head of the newly created business unit "Data & Tools". At the same time, he also became a member of WEMF's extended management team. As of May 1, 2023, he will help shape the strategic development of WEMF as part of the three-member Executive Board, together with Dr. Jella Hoffmann (CEO) and Marco Bernasconi (Deputy CEO).
The media researcher, who holds a doctorate from the University of Zurich, has carried out groundbreaking WEMF projects in various functions, such as the establishment of MedienDB and the development of Agency.OS (management tool for allmedia campaigns). He will continue to be responsible for the operation and further development of WEMF statistics, databases and tools, as well as implementing development projects in the area of Technical New Business.
Harald Amschler is retiring after more than 30 years with WEMF. In various functions, including as Deputy CEO and as Head of Research for many years, he was responsible for groundbreaking projects at WEMF.
