A new CEO for Swisscom subsidiary Fastweb
In October, Walter Renna takes the scepter to lead Fastweb, succeeding Alberto Calcagno.
Walter Renna will take the helm at Swisscom subsidiary Fastweb on October 1, 2023. Renna is currently responsible for marketing, communications, product development and IT at the Italian broadband provider.
Current Fastweb CEO Alberto Calcagno has decided to step down after ten years at the helm of the company, Swisscom announced Thursday. He looks back on a successful 23-year career at Fastweb.
Fastweb's board of directors has now elected Renna as its new CEO. Renna is a proven expert with broad management and market experience and detailed knowledge of the telecommunications and technology industry, Swisscom CEO Christoph Aeschlimann said in the communiqué. (SDA)
