Nadine Sommerhalder new Watson Editor-in-Chief

The Board of Directors has appointed the 37-year-old project manager of Blick TV as the new Editor-in-Chief of Watson Deutschschweiz as of July 1, 2023.

The succession in the editorial department of Watson has been settled. As of July 1, Nadine Sommerhalder, a 37-year-old from Wipkingen, will take over. Her previous professional positions include TeleZüri, Radio24 and most recently BlickTV, where she served as project manager format development. She holds degrees from Hill City High in Minnesota and in journalism and geography from the University of Zurich.

Marius Egger will remain Editor-in-Chief ad interim until June 30, 2023, after which he will return to his usual role as Deputy Editor-in-Chief. Nadine Sommerhalder will join Watson's Executive Board.
