Roger Oberholzer becomes CEO of Metaverse Academy

Metaverse Academy, founded in March 2022 by the Kuble agency, is expanding its management team due to growth and the further professionalization of its offering, and is appointing Roger Oberholzer as CEO. In doing so, he will relinquish the position as Executive Strategy Director at Publicis Zurich, which he held for the past three years. However, he will remain with the communications agency on a part-time basis as a strategy consultant.

Time for the next step

Together with Martha Boeckenfeld - Dean of the Metaverse Academy and thought leader in the field of Metaverse, NFT and Web3 - and the four founding partners, Roger Oberholzer will be responsible for the further development of the Metaverse Academy. "The Academy has successfully mastered the first important steps. More than 500 executives have already attended the various education formats. Now it's time to take the next step and further develop the offerings in the four areas of Education, Experiences, Events and Community Learning," says Roger Oberholzer about his start. And he adds: "I am impressed by how deeply the team around Gustavo Salami, as Founder of the Academy and Head of Innovation at Kuble, is in the subject. As natives and nerds, they have not only read about it, but have gained an enormous amount of practical experience in the Web3 space for several years."

Oberholzer brings experience and expertise from over 15 years as a strategist and consultant in digital marketing and, as Chief Learning Officer, spent seven years in a business school building and managing continuing education portfolios for management.
