Nina Burri starts at ZüriToday in January
The ZüriToday team is getting a new addition. Snake woman Nina Burri will strengthen the Zurich editorial team from January 2023 under the leadership of Jonathan Schoeffel.
Bernese Nina Burri has been performing on the world's stages for 36 years. Now the 45-year-old contortionist is embarking on a new professional chapter. As editor of the news platform ZüriToday, she will be producing trimedial content for the Zurich region's online portal on a full-time basis from January 2023.
With her experience as an actress and presenter, Burri has already been able to get to know the media world. Now she wants to look behind the scenes and prove herself as a journalist and editor: "I want a varied job that challenges me and in which I can develop. As an online editor, I not only have to master copywriting, but also interviewing, camera work and editing. I am very motivated to learn the craft of a good journalist," Burri is quoted as saying in a CH Media statement.
The start of a new phase in her life as a journalist begins for the Snake Woman in the final year of her career. Until the end of 2023, she would like to give her audience another chance to experience her on stage. "I think that a 36-year stage career deserves a worthy conclusion," Burri says of her announced final year.
