Patrick Warnking takes over management of the entire Google Eastern Europe business

Patrick Warnking, Country Head of Google Switzerland, will take over the management of Google's Eastern European business from the Warsaw location from January 2023. Warnking thus bears business responsibility for a region with more than 20 countries.

Over the past nearly twelve years, Warnking has been responsible for expanding Google's market and partnerships in Switzerland. In addition to his work as Google's country head in Zurich, he volunteered in various organizations and initiatives in the Swiss ecosystem, particularly in the area of digital education. Patrick Warnking has been with Google in the German-speaking region for more than 15 years.

Until a successor is found, Christine Antlanger-Winter, Country Director of Google Austria, will also manage the business activities of Google Switzerland on an interim basis. A native of Upper Austria, she has been responsible for the business activities of Google Austria since 2019; before that, the engineering graduate was CEO of Mindshare.
