In his new role, Vretscha, who has been in charge of GroupM Austria since 2019, is primarily tasked with further strengthening GroupM's local corporate presence in Switzerland and also in Austria and developing meaningful synergies across both markets. The company's current successful course is to be further secured and expanded.
According to the press release, the starting point and focus of the organizational realignment are, on the one hand, the changed requirements of advertising customers, which the digital market in particular brings with it. On the other hand, it is the transformation of advertising, which is being forced not least by external influences such as continuing crises or regulatory framework conditions.
Vretscha is co-initiator of the first Austrian sustainability award "Green Marketing Award" and specifically focuses on local value creation in the communication ecosystem. He is concerned with sustainable growth for customers through forward-looking solutions and collective intelligence.
