SRF: Roger Aebli new in the "Tagesschau" anchor team

Roger Aebli will become the new anchor of the "Tagesschau" noon and early evening editions on SRF in the fall. He succeeds Wasiliki Goutziomitros, who will join the anchor team of the news magazine "10 vor 10.

The successor of Wasiliki Goutziomitros in the anchor team of the "Tagesschau" editions at noon and on the eve is Roger Aebli. The 39-year-old from Graubünden has been working at SRF for seven years. Since the beginning of the year, he has been reporting on events in Russia and Ukraine for Radio SRF as foreign editor from Bern.

From 2015 to 2022, he produced and presented news at Radio SRF 4, including the shows "HeuteMorgen" and "Politikum. Before that, Aebli, who holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and organizational communication from the ZHAW, worked for a longer period at "Radio Grischa" - most recently as editorial director, at "Tele Südostschweiz" as talk show and election show host, and at "Südostschweiz" as freelance editor in the culture department.
