Viva is expanding its newsdesk in the area of mobility as of September 1, 2022, with the signing of Timothy Pancake. The future Senior Editor Newsdesk has been working for media of Ringier and Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland for 23 years, among others for View and Blick.ch, SonntagsBlick, Swiss Illustrated including specials like Car or Green as well as the Swiss CountryLove.

The 53-year-old turned his journalistic vocation into a profession in 1999 when he joined the press agency Bärtschi Media. When it was taken over, he moved to Ringier in 2019. His stylistically confident writing tailored to the target group and his talent for getting to the heart of complex issues in areas such as cars, mobility, business, service and lifestyle will enrich Viva's portfolio in the future, as will his many years of project experience.

"The challenges in content marketing are growing and becoming more complex. With Timothy Pfannkuchen, we can provide our customers in mobility and business with additional relevant know-how," says Viva agency manager Georg Gasser.
