Swiss International Air Lines has appointed 49-year-old Silvia Exer-Kuhn and 33-year-old Mike Pelzer as its new media spokespersons, effective July 2022. They succeed Sonja Ptassek and Marco Lipp, who will leave the company at their own request at the end of July and the end of April, respectively. Both are taking on a new challenge outside of Swiss.

Silvia Exer-Kuhn has been responsible for operational communications and PR & events in the cabin crew area at Swiss since 2015. Previously, she worked in journalism for more than 20 years, including 14 years at SRF Swiss Television as a journalist, producer and project manager.

Mike Pelzer comes from Ringier, where he is currently media spokesman. Prior to that, he worked at the public relations agency Rod Kommunikation as a PR consultant and, at the beginning of his career, as a TV presenter for several years.

The media office team, headed by Karin Montani, still includes Meike Fuhlrott and Michael Stief.
