On the occasion of the 20+1 anniversary: Change of management at Konnex
Big news at the Konnex anniversary celebration: After 21 years, co-founder Peter Döbeli is retiring from the operational business. From now on, he will focus on his chairmanship of the board of Konnex.
Since last year's anniversary party fell victim to the pandemic, the Konnex agency celebrated its 20+1 year anniversary on Thursday in the pop-up bar at Wiedehopf Winterthur. More than 110 people, consisting of clients, media partners and employees, toasted the agency, the good cooperation and the future. A future that will continue to be characterized by change.
In a short speech, Peter Döbeli said that as an agency and as a person, one must always question oneself. For this reason, there will be a change in the management. Döbeli, who founded the agency 21 years ago together with Monica Jäggi and Ronny Schmid, has decided to retire from the management and the operational business of the agency as of May 31, 2022, in order to concentrate on his mandate as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Konnex.
As of June 1, 2022, Monica Jäggi and Marco Berto, who has already been an equal partner and member of the Konnex Executive Board since 2020, will continue to lead the agency into the future. Monica Jäggi will be responsible for leading the consulting team and for media strategy issues, while Marco Berto will take care of digital development.
