SRF: Henriette Engbersen moves to the private sector

After almost 14 years at SRF in various functions, Henriette Engbersen, currently UK correspondent, has decided to take on a new challenge as executive searcher at Level Consulting.

Henriette EngbersenHenriette Engbersen earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and communication from ZHAW in 2006 and a Master of Arts in design in visual communication from ZHdK in 2016. The now 41-year-old got her start in journalism during her studies at the St. Galler Tagblatt. She then worked as a video journalist for Tele Ostschweiz from 2006 to 2008.

The switch to SRF came in 2008, when Henriette Engbersen spent five years as Eastern Switzerland correspondent for television. She provided contributions, reports and assessments for "Schweiz aktuell", the "Tagesschau" and "10vor10". During this time, she also worked abroad as a reporter for the travel program "Fernweh" and also for the editorial team of "Rundschau". From 2014, Henriette Engbersen worked as an editor for "Tagesschau", and from 2015 she was also assigned to foreign assignments as a special correspondent.

Since 2017, Henriette Engbersen has been SRF's TV correspondent for the UK and Ireland region, where she has reported on topics including Brexit, the British royal family, London as a financial center and the European Football Championship.

After her return to Switzerland in spring 2022, which was already communicated at the end of September 2021, she has now decided to leave SRF and take on a new challenge as an executive searcher at Level Consulting. The TV correspondent position in London will be taken over by Michael Gerber (Werbewoche.ch reported).
