Head of HR Veronika Novak leaves CH Media

Veronika Novak, Head of Human Resources and member of the CH Media Executive Board, is leaving CH Media at her own request at the end of April 2022. She has headed the Human Resources department since the founding of CH Media and in 2015-2018 for AZ Medien.

According to a statement from CH Media, Veronika Novak has decided to leave the company at the end of April to pursue a new direction. Novak joined the then AZ Medien in 2015 as Head of Human Resources and was appointed to the management of AZ Medien on January 1, 2017, where she supported the joint venture of AZ Medien with NZZ Regionalmedien from the Human Resources side. Under CEO Axel Wüstmann, she was responsible for the staff function Human Resources as a member of the Executive Board from the start of CH Media.

Big loss

Novak would have led the Human Resources department with great expertise and prudence, CH Media writes in the release. Under her leadership, Human Resources has made a significant contribution to the media company's reputation in the job market.

"Veronika Novak has made a significant contribution to CH Media's success story to date," CEO Axel Wüstmann is quoted as saying in the statement. "She has always been a great support and confidant for the entire management, but especially for me. She brought many years of experience and great expertise in the field of human resources to the company and represented the concerns of the workforce in the management competently and with passion."

CH Media will begin planning for Veronika Novak's successor in the coming weeks. (pd/swi)
