Linus Schöpfer becomes culture editor at the NZZ am Sonntag

After ten years at the Tages-Anzeiger, Linus Schöpfer will move to Falkenstrasse in April 2022, where he will write for the NZZ am Sonntag as culture editor.

"I'm looking forward to working with one of Switzerland's best culture reporters. Linus will make our newspaper even better," says Peer Teuwsen, Head of Culture at the NZZ on Sunday. In his new role, the 36-year-old creator will work as a culture reporter and oversee the literature and non-fiction dossier.

Schöpfer studied literature and history in Bern and Berlin. Since 2012 he has worked as a cultural editor at the Tages-Anzeiger. He also published individual texts in the South German newspaper and in the Time.

Before taking up his post, Schöpfer wants to complete another book project. In 2019, he already published the cultural history of swinging "Schwere Kerle rollen besser".
