View: Jessica von Duehren-Cattani becomes new head of news

Jessica von Duehren-Cattani will become head of news at the Blick editorial office on August 1. She succeeds Sandro Inguscio, the new Editor-in-Chief of Blick.ch and Blick TV. Flavio Razzino replaces deputy head of news Daniel Riedel, who is moving to Ringier Corporate Communications to become media spokesman for the Blick Group.

After the appointment of the former head of news Sandro Inguscio as editor-in-chief of View.ch and View TV a new head of the news department will be appointed. The 30-year-old Jessica von Duehren-Cattani, currently online daily manager, will become head of news and take over responsibility for the largest department of the View-Group. She has worked since 2014 at View - first as a reporter, then as a paper writer at the View in the evening. In the future, she will lead a 22-person team consisting of reporters in Zurich and the regions, as well as the central newsdesk.

Furthermore, 32-year-old Flavio Razzino is appointed deputy View-Chief News Officer promoted. He has served as a reporter since 2017 and additionally as deputy head of news desk since 2019 for View active. "Flavio Razzino is one of the best reporters in the View-Group and repeatedly attracts attention with relevant revelations," says Christian Dorer. "It's the logical next step for him to take on co-responsibility for the news department." Flavio Razzino joins Roman Neumann, also deputy news chief, who retains that role.

After nine years, Daniel Riedel, the current deputy head of news, is moving internally from the editorial department to Ringier Corporate Communications and, in mid-September, will take over as Communications Manager, the spokesperson function for the View-Group.
