Andreas Lanz joins Link's Board of Directors

At Link's Annual General Meeting, 33-year-old Prof. Dr. Andreas U. Lanz was newly elected to the Board of Directors of the market and social research institute.

Lanz is an assistant professor of marketing and teaches business analytics in the MBA and Grande École programs at the École des hautes études commerciales Paris (HEC Paris). At the same time, he is a board member of the Swiss Data Insights Association (Swiss Insights) and a member of the advisory board of Kasko2go.

Since completing his doctorate at the University of Mannheim, Andreas Lanz has been conducting research projects with a focus on the interface between marketing, economics and business informatics. His research focuses on how granular data from online platforms can be used to support and better inform management decisions.

Lanz is looking forward to his new role and in particular to being able to accompany Link in its next growth step: "The marketing function has been losing strategic relevance for years. This is where Link is perfectly positioned. It can support the marketing function in rigorously demonstrating its value in order to simultaneously create precise, reliable and meaningful bases for decision-making."
