Marcel Gilgenbach becomes COO of Mediarent
As of July 1, Marcel Gilgenbach will replace Mediarent's previous COO, Alexander Bitter, who will leave the company at the end of July. Gilgenbach joined the company in April 2012 as Senior Project Manager and took over the role of Head of Project Management and Deputy COO at the end of 2019.
After graduating from high school with degrees in German, history, physics and music, Gilgenbach trained as an event technology specialist. With his further training as a project manager, various specialist workshops attended and the "MAS Project Management" course completed, he has the optimum equipment to successfully perform the function of COO.
Marcel Gilgenbach replaces the outgoing position holder Alexander Bitter, who will leave the company at the end of June 2021. "The fact that we were able to find an internal successor in Marcel Gilgenbach is the best solution we could have wished for," says Christian Stoob, CEO at Mediarent.
Dr.W.A.Günther Media Rent is one of the large total suppliers of event technology in Switzerland. The company is active annually for over 1000 large and small events.
