Karin Heim becomes Head of Corporate Communications at NZZ

Karin Heim will take over as Head of Corporate Communications at the NZZ on October 1, 2021. She succeeds Seta Thakur, who is moving to the Schauspielhaus Zurich as of November.

In her new role, Karin Heim will be responsible for corporate communications at NZZ and will thus also support and accompany the company's ongoing transformation process. Felix Graf, CEO of NZZ, says: "I am very pleased that we have found a good internal successor for Seta Thakur in Karin Heim. Karin joined NZZ's Corporate Communications on June 1, 2018, and has done an excellent job at all levels over the past three years. With her professional expertise and strong networking within the company, she is ideally suited for the new role. I warmly congratulate Karin on this promotion and very much look forward to our continued collaboration."

Before joining Ringier in June 2018, Karin Heim was Communications Manager at Ringier, where she was responsible for the internal and external communications of the joint venture Ringier Axel Springer Schweiz (RASCH). Until mid-2015, Karin Heim held various positions in Corporate Communications at the internationally active technology group Bühler for seven years, most recently as Head of Internal Communications. Before that, she worked as a translator for the Swiss financial infrastructure group SIX. Karin Heim studied translation (English and French) at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). Her education also included two semesters of study at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. She holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Business Communications from the Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich (HWZ).
