Reto Wüthrich new communications officer of the Bernese government

Reto Wüthrich, 47, will take over as head of the Cantonal Office of Communications at the beginning of next year. He succeeds Christian Kräuchi, who is retiring.

Wüthrich has been working as a communications and political consultant at the Furrer Hugi agency in Bern since 2019, the government council announced Tuesday. He was previously head of communications at the Migros Aare cooperative.

The Office of Communications is part of the State Chancellery. It operates across all directorates and has around 20 employees. As communications officer, Wüthrich will also advise the full government council on communications issues. (SDA)
