Henry F. Detering new CMO and Head of Global Marketing & Analytics at Vontobel

Henry F. Detering, CFA und Marketing-Experte mit umfassender globaler und digitaler Erfahrung, ist neuer Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) und Head of Global Marketing & Analytics bei Vontobel.

During his long career at Lazard Asset Management, Henry F. Detering built central marketing services and was appointed global head of marketing for the company in 2014. Detering has a proven track record of cultivating a global brand, integrating sales and marketing, and aligning the structural and digital foundations for future growth, according to a Vontobel statement.

Henry F. Detering is a member of the Global Executive Board and relocated from New York to the greater Zurich area this spring. He has spent much of his life in Europe, beginning with a year as an exchange student in Belgium. He studied biophysical chemistry at Dartmouth College, has a master's degree in international relations from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in marketing from the Wharton School. In addition to English, he is fluent in French, and speaks some Portuguese and German.

Detering has taken over as Head of Global Marketing & Analytics from Georg Schubiger, who initially led the Marketing & Analytics team together with Axel Schwarzer and most recently alone on an interim basis.
