Seta Thakur to leave NZZ in the fall
Seta Thakur, Head of Corporate Communications at NZZ, has decided to take on a new professional challenge at the end of the year: She is moving to the Schauspielhaus Zurich as of November, where she will take over as head of the press and media department and serve as a member of the extended management team.
Seta Thakur joined the company in June 2018. NZZ and also headed the Brand Strategy department on an interim basis until fall 2019 (Werbewoche.ch reported). According to a statement from NZZ Mediengruppe, she has played a key role in shaping corporate communications over the past three years and further developing its instruments.
"Seta Thakur has made an important contribution to communicating the values and strategy of NZZ during its ongoing transformation phase - both internally and externally," said Felix Graf, CEO of NZZ. "Especially during the challenging time of the pandemic, she has contributed to its successful management at the corporate level thanks to her expertise, professionalism and with a high level of commitment. I would like to thank her sincerely for her excellent performance. We very much regret her departure and wish her every success at her new place of work."
The search for a successor is underway.
