Larissa Merkel-Tytus appointed Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of the KKL Luzern

Larissa Merkel-Tytus, who has been Head of Sales & Marketing at the KKL Luzern since summer 2018, will take on the role of Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) as a new member of the Executive Board from June 2021.

This position had not been filled since the beginning of the pandemic. Now the recovery of the business is becoming increasingly clear. With this step, the Sales & Marketing and Events departments are to be additionally strengthened and prepared for the restart. The management team will in turn be expanded to three people.

As she is already very familiar with our customers and the current projects, we will now be able to make comprehensive progress with her and her team, particularly in the upcoming digitisation drive at the KKL Luzern," says Felix Howald, Chairman of KKL Luzern Management AG.

Larissa Merkel is 32 years old and lives with her family in Kriens. After her bachelor's degree in International Tourism Management at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen and her year abroad in Spain, she started directly with her first position in Sales & Marketing in the international hotel industry. Before starting at the KKL Luzern, she worked for four years at the Swissôtel Zurich, where she was part of the group-wide Leadership Development Programme to prepare her for higher management tasks.
