Christian Lüscher leaves 20 Minuten

The current Head of Commercial Publishing at 20 Minuten, Christian Lüscher, is leaving the company at the end of February. According to a press release, this is due to differences of opinion. Chief Commercial Content Officer Annina Flückiger will take over on an interim basis.

In 2016, Christian Lüscher took over the management and development of the then newly established Commercial Publishing department, which now comprises 23 employees. The unit creates for 20 minutes and Tamedia's titles paid content on behalf of customers. Under his leadership, the advertising genres of branded content and native advertising became established.

Before that, the 38-year-old was a reporter and media journalist for Newsnet and Tages-Anzeiger active. Most recently, he headed the Readers' Forum and Social Media department at the Tages-Anzeiger. Before joining TX Group, he was editorial director of Persoenlich.com and editor of the Advertising Week.

Lüscher leave 20 minutes due to differences of opinion regarding the strategic direction and management of the Commercial Publishing division, according to a statement from 20 Minuten. Until the succession is clarified, Chief Commercial Content Officer Annina Flückiger will take over Lüscher's position ad interim.
