Nora Zukker appointed new Head of Literature at Tamedia Editorial Office

Nora Zukker will take over as head of Tamedia's literary editorial department as of January 2021. She takes over from Martin Ebel, who retired in the summer. Ebel will continue to work for Tamedia's culture team on a 20 percent basis.

Nora Zukker worked for Radio SRF3 for two years in 2015 with her weekly literature column "Lesezunder". This was followed by freelance assignments for Radio SRF3, SRF Virus, SRF2 Kultur and Deutschlandfunk. She also wrote for the feuilleton of the NZZ, NZZ Folio, Migros-Magazin and the street magazine Surprise. In addition to regular moderations, she is a member of the program committee of the Solothurn Literature Days. Furthermore, she was responsible for the social media channels of the book festival "Zürich liest" for five years.

"Nora Zukker represents a new generation of female critics, she knows the literary business from the inside and has a voice of her own," explains Philippe Zweifel, co-head of life at Tamedia's editorial department. "We are convinced that she will successfully continue the literary editorial team with her high level of competence."
