Martin Nellen becomes Head of Communications at Migros

Ab 1. Juli 2020 wird Martin Nellen die Direktion Kommunikation & Medien des Migros-Genossenschafts-Bundes (MGB) leiten. Er wechselt von der SUVA zum MGB.

Martin Nellen will take over as Head of the Communications & Media Directorate of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives as of July 1, 2020. The 54-year-old has many years of experience in strategic communications and leadership. He has been Head of Corporate Communications at SUVA since 2018. Previously, he headed the Corporate Communications and Brand Management department at Helvetia Insurance Group for almost ten years. From 1997 to 2007, he held various communications functions at Credit Suisse, where he successfully supported the communication of the gradual transformation from the former SKA to Credit Suisse.

Martin Nellen will take over from Roland Binz, who has led the MGB's communications directorate on a mandate basis since June 2019 and will return to work for his own company in communications consulting from July as planned.

In addition to MGB's corporate communications, the Communications & Media Directorate is responsible, among other things, for the customer magazine Migros Magazin and numerous online and print publications.
