At their Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, Somedia shareholders elected two new members to the Board of Directors, Catherine Mühlemann and Boris Berger, and confirmed the existing members in office. Catherine Mühlemann began her professional career in 1994 at Swiss Television. From 1997 she was in charge of setting up the second channel SF2 and of the programming strategy for the two channels SF1 and SF2. In 1999, Mühlemann moved to the first Swiss private channel TV3 as co-founder and programme director. In 2001, Catherine Mühlemann followed Viacom's call and took over the management of MTV Central. From 2005, she was also responsible for the television business of the Viva Media Group. The former member of the Board of Directors of Swisscom is now responsible for an e-commerce platform as an entrepreneur and has been Vice President of Switzerland Tourism since 2017. The media manager is the mother of two children and lives in Interlaken and Berlin.
Boris Berger is the father of three children and lives in Weesen. He has been a member of the advisory board of the Ebner Ulm publishing group since 2014. After training as an interior designer at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich and studying philosophy at the Freie Universität in Berlin, Boris Berger completed further training as an industrial designer. Since 1996, Berger has worked as a member of the management board, investor and founder for various companies in Europe, including TopMail, Interim Excellence and Forum Executive.
The Somedia Board of Directors now consists of Hanspeter Lebrument (Chairman), Silvio Lebrument, Susanne Lebrument, Peter Lebrument, Andrea von Rechenberg, Catherine Mühlemann and Boris Berger.
