Markus Bettler is the new Managing Director Clients at Mediacom Switzerland
Markus Bettler has been the new Managing Director Clients at Mediacom in Zurich since the beginning of March 2020. He takes over his role from Benjamin Moser, who is now CEO of the agency.
Bettler looks back on many years of management experience on the agency and client side and was most recently involved in building up the travel startup Yakondi.com, which he co-founded. At the same time as founding the company, he completed his Executive MBA in Business Engineering at the University of St.Gallen with a focus on business innovation and digital transformation.
Prior to that, he was Managing Director at OMD Switzerland for many years, as well as marketing manager within the Migros Group in the specialist stores and Interio furnishing stores divisions.
Markus Bettler, together with the existing team, will take care of the development of client relationships and set new accents in holistic consulting as well as interdisciplinary cooperation: "The media usage of the Swiss is subject to continuous change. Data-driven media strategies help us to set the right accents. My understanding is to orchestrate the target group-relevant media channels intelligently and measurably and to create groundbreaking added value for our clients."
