Rejuvenation of the management: Konnex repositions itself

As of January 1, the management of the Winterthur agency Konnex will be reorganized: Ronny Schmid, who is stepping down due to age, will be replaced by Marco Berto, a Konnex consultant of many years. Together with the founding duo Peter Döbeli and Monica Jäggi, he will now lead Konnex.


The agency continues to be managed by three partners. Due to age, founding member Ronny Schmid is retiring from the management after 18 years. Marco Berto, Konnex consultant with a focus on online/technology since 2011, becomes a partner and member of the management board as of January 1. 

Monica Jäggi, Marketing Planner and Head of Communications, has the operational management and leads the Konnex consulting team. Peter Döbeli, Head of Communications, is responsible for the strategic management.

Ronny Schmid will continue to work for Konnex: On a part-time basis, he will realize brand content and paid content as well as take on administrative tasks.


The agency "in the pampas

Konnex was founded in 2001 by Monica Jäggi, Peter Döbeli and Ronny Schmid, "in the pampas of the advertising industry, i.e. in Winterthur," as Peter Döbeli points out. Monica Jäggi and Peter Döbeli knew each other from Micom Carat, which is now part of the Dentsu Aegis Network, where she was deputy managing director and he was founder and managing director. Ronny Schmid joined as Managing Director of Universal McCann Switzerland.
