Simon Leu becomes new Head of Studies Audio/Radio at MAZ

SRF journalist Simon Leu is the new Head of Studies for Radio/Audio at MAZ - The Swiss School of Journalism in Lucerne. He will take up the post on March 1, 2020. He replaces Barbara Stöckli, who is retiring after 21 years.

"With Simon Leu, we have been able to fill this important position perfectly. He meets all the requirements in an ideal way," MAZ Director Diego Yanez said in a statement.

Simon Leu is no stranger to the MAZ. The experienced Radio SRF journalist has been a passionate MAZ lecturer for almost ten years. He brings with him a wealth of radio experience as a journalist, presenter and producer. He earned his spurs at Radio Extra Bern and Radio 24 before moving to the former Radio DRS in 2007. There, Simon Leu was soon also active as a trainer. (pd/hae)
