The New Zurich Newspaper is establishing a new department for technology, which Christiane Hanna Henkel will take over at the beginning of November. Christiane Hanna Henkel joined the company in 1999 as business editor. NZZ-editorship. From 2001 to 2009, she reported from Latin America. From 2009 until recently, she worked for the NZZ as economics and finance correspondent in New York. After studying business administration at HEC Lausanne, Christiane Hanna Henkel graduated from the Georg von Holtzbrinck School for Business Journalists in Düsseldorf and then earned her doctorate at the University of St. Gallen. 

The task of the new department, which will focus strongly on online reporting and work closely with the other departments, is to bundle reporting on the economic, social and political aspects of the highly relevant cross-cutting topic of technology. The team will be made up internally of employees from existing departments.
