New additions to the editorial team of Finanz und Wirtschaft

The Tamedia title Finanz und Wirtschaft has seen various new additions in recent weeks. As of now, Switzerland's largest business editorial department is once again fully staffed.

New at Finanz und Wirtschaft: Sylviane Chassot, Sylvia Walter, Stefan Krähenbühl, Ivo Ruch, Daniel Schmucki and Mara Bernath (from left).

 

On August 1 joined Daniel Schmuki to the Corporate Department. Previously, the 46-year-old economist was Senior Policy Advisor in the Banking Section of the State Secretariat for International Financial Matters (SIF). In addition, the Corporates Department received the support of three further editors in early summer: the 34-year-old Stefan Krähenbühl previously worked in marketing and communications at the RoadCross Switzerland Foundation. He brings journalistic experience as head of the regional economy department at Zürcher Oberländer. Sylviane Chassot was formerly a business editor at the New Zurich Newspaper where the 33-year-old also served as a page-turner. The 38-year-old Ivo Ruch reported before his move to the Finance and economy on listed Swiss companies as well as the topics of pensions, mortgages and real estate for the online magazine Cash.ch.  

The Markets department was also completed: The 27-year-old Mara Bernath joined the company from Bloomberg News in Zurich, where she was a breaking news reporter. Finance and economy, while Sylvia Walter (52) was previously a Senior Economist in the Economic Research team at Swiss Life Asset Managers. 

The management of inserts will be taken over on August 15, 2019 by Carla Palm. The 47-year-old pushes from the Handelszeitungwhere she was the head of the Invest department, to the Finance and economy.
