Christina Neuhaus becomes new Editor-in-Chief of NZZ Folio

In her new role, Christina Neuhaus will be responsible for the journalistic management of the NZZ Folio and, together with the editorial team, develop the magazine strategically. To this end, she is relinquishing her position as editor in the domestic department of NZZ which she has held since September 2017. "Christina Neuhaus is an exceptionally experienced journalist with a broad thematic spectrum. She knows how to captivate and inspire her readers with her narrative style and analysis. In addition, she knows our company very well and is very familiar with the processes of the NZZ editorial offices. We are convinced that she is the ideal person to align the 'NZZ Folio' for the future," says Eric Gujer, Editor-in-Chief of the New Zurich Newspaper.

Christina Neuhaus has been working for the New Zurich Newspaper: first as editor for the Zurich department of the NZZthen as domestic editor for the NZZ on Sunday. Since September 2017, she has been working in the same function for the Domestic Department of the NZZ. Christina Neuhaus studied German and history at the University of Zurich. From 1992, she worked as a journalist for various regional newspapers around Lake Zurich.

Christina Neuhaus takes over the management of the NZZ Folio of Daniel Weber, who will leave the company at the end of July. Daniel Weber has worked for the NZZ Media Group since 1984. He started as a freelance film, media and literary critic for the NZZ, he was hired as a film and media editor in 1986. At the foundation of NZZ Folio In 1991, he moved to its editorial department, which he took over in 1999. In this function, he has steadily advanced the journalistic development of the magazine.
