Karin Leuppi joins Tele M1's "Aktuell" anchor team
A new face for Tele M1's news program: Karin Leuppi joins Anna Steiner, Tanja Gutmann, Anne-Käthi Kremer and Adrian Remund in the anchor team for the "Aktuell" program.
On Tuesday at 6 p.m., the 30-year-old Leuppi will make her hosting debut for the flagship show of Switzerland's second-largest regional broadcaster. The Solothurn native has been working as a video journalist and presenter of the "Fokus" program for AZ Medien's regional station since December 2016. Previously, the 30-year-old worked as an editor for Radio 32 for around five years and completed her diploma in journalism at the MAZ in Lucerne in 2015. Leuppi received an award from the Solothurn Alzheimer's Association for her final thesis, a five-part radio series on dementia.
