Longtime SRG spokesman Daniel Steiner retires

Daniel Steiner is retiring after many years as media spokesman in the SRG General Management.

After twelve years at SRG, media spokesman Daniel "Dano" Steiner, 64, is taking early retirement today. Steiner worked as a journalist for around 20 years, headed the information and media department of Swiss Olympic for twelve years, became Head Corporate Communications at DHL Switzerland and joined SRG in the fall of 2006.

On January 1, 2007, Daniel Steiner became media spokesman and Deputy Head of Corporate Communications at SRG. On October 1, 2017, he handed over the reins of the media office to Edi Estermann. Since then, he has continued to serve as media spokesperson. His position has been taken over by Lauranne Peman, who started at SRG on May 1.
