Marco Imboden becomes new Head of Communications at CSS

Marco Imboden will take over as Head of Corporate Communications at CSS Group from mid-November 2018. In his new position, the 47-year-old communications expert will be responsible for the strategic direction of communications and sharpening CSS's positioning as a healthcare partner for its policyholders.

Marco Imboden will take up his position as Head of Corporate Communications in Lucerne in November 2018. In his role, he is responsible for the further development of CSS's strategic communications and communicative positioning. Marco Imboden thus takes over from Reto Schertenleib, Head of Marketing Communications, who provided interim leadership. The responsibilities of the new Head of Communications at CSS Group include media relations, marketing communications, publications as well as digital and internal communications.

Marco Imboden has been Head of Communications and a member of the extended Executive Board of Swiss Post since June 2012. He started at Swiss Post at the end of 2010, where he initially headed communications for the PostMail business unit. Before that, Marco Imboden was Head of Corporate and Marketing Communications at SR Technics Group. Until 2006, he worked for Zurich Insurance Group, including as Head of Communications for the European Division. Marco Imboden is 47 years old; he holds a licentiate from the University of Fribourg in German language and literature and in modern history.
