After a long period of self-employment and various positions in the communications industry, Beat Krapf joins the 20 Minuten team from the Wettingen advertising agency Megura, where he has built up and managed the content department over the past two years. Beat Krapf studied Cast / Audiovisual Media at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and completed a Master's degree in New Media Journalism at the University of Leipzig.

The appointment of Beat Krapf is part of a planned expansion of 20minuten.ch's video expertise. The video inventory of Switzerland's largest news site, which is already one of the leaders in this category with currently 30 million video views per month, will continue to grow in the coming months. The focus will be on innovative in-house productions, vlogs and the development of new (news) formats. As part of this reorganization, the previous Head of Video at 20 Minuten, Philipp Stirnemann, will take over the position of Head of Production.
