Edi Estermann is new in the HarbourClub board of directors

As announced at yesterday's annual summer event of the HarbourClub, the board has appointed Edi Estermann, SRG SSR, to its committee. He will take over his duties with immediate effect. His final election will be decided at the next general meeting of the HarbourClub in spring 2019.

After four years, Matthias Schneider, Head of Corporate Communications & Public Affairs at Coca Cola Switzerland, is stepping down from the Board in order to devote more time to his new position as Head of Communications & Campaign Manager at the FDP of the Canton of Zurich. Dominique Morel, President HarbourClub: "We owe Matthias in particular countless legendary HarbourClub events. I am also very pleased that he will remain with us in the club."

Edi Estermann, Head of the Media Office General Management of SRG SSR, was newly appointed to the Board. He takes up his position on the Board with immediate effect and brings with him a broad network and his many years of experience in media companies.

Estermann has been Head of the SRG SSR Media Office and Spokesman for the Chief Executive Officer since October 1, 2017. Previously, he was Chief Communications Officer at Ringier, where he was responsible for the media company's internal and external communications. Before moving to Corporate Communications, he led project management for the Blick Group's Integrated Newsroom and had joined Ringier as a journalist in 1998. He worked as chief reporter at Schweizer Illustrierte, and from 2004 to 2008 as its head of news.
